The Beach of the Picos de Europa

The beach of Santa Marina is one of the most extensive in Asturias, presenting a large sandy area that goes into the Ribadesella estuary that opens next to Mount Cordero and to which it pours its waters the Sella River. It has a stone (which can be traveled during low tide, reaching Tereñes) in the western area, located under Mount Somos.1

Its pedestrian accesses to the sand are comfortable and easy consisting of stairs and ramps. Being a beach within an urban area, it has practically all kinds of services: toilets, showers, bins, cleaning service, tourist office, telephones, drinks and food establishments; as well as a warning of danger through public address and lifeguard services, albeit in the summer season.

In addition, his interest is growing by counting in the far west, remains of dinosaur footprints (ichnitas) and behind the promenade you can contemplate various modernist and Indian villas.
